Momo Gelato, an artisan gelato chain from Rio de Janeiro created by economist Walter de Mattos, landed on the corner of Oscar Freire and Peixoto Gomide, in Jardins. It is the brand’s seventh store, and the first outside the Rio de Janeiro capital. The flavors that are versions of Brazilian sweets are successful, such as paçoca with pé de moleque and brigadeiro. During the June festivities, they even have couscous gelato. But there are also cakes, gelato pies, brownies, cookies and coffees.
