A 45-year-old Aegean businessman was arrested for domestic violence after his wife and parents filed a lawsuit.
For domestic violence a 45-year-old businessman from the Aigio store was arrested on Sunday night, after a lawsuit was filed by his wife, mother and father.
The man, having consumed a quantity alcoholcalled his mother abusing and threatening her and she in turn informed the Police, expressing concern for her daughter-in-law and grandchild.
His police officers AT Aegialia they rushed to his house, where they found him on the street as his wife would not “open” to him. Her in-laws had already rushed to the apartment, fearing that the situation would get out of hand.
The 45-year-old, upon his arrest, resisted, injuring a police officer in the hands – he got two stitches on the finger – and today he was taken to the public prosecutor and referred to trial in his own right. After a request for an adjournment, the perpetrator was released and will sit in the dock on Wednesday.
About two years ago, he was again involved with the authorities for domestic violence, with his wife at the time filing a lawsuit for threats and insults.
