The fire in Neoktista will be slow to extinguish due to the amount of fuel available
An alarm was raised in the early hours of the morning at the Fire Department, as two fires broke out within a short time in factory premises in the area of Aspropyrgos.
In particular, the first fire occurred at approximately 04:15 in the morning at abandoned shoe factory in Nea Zoi Aspropyrgos.
According to the Fire Department, the fire is under controlwhile 12 firefighters with 4 vehicles are trying to extinguish it.
A little later, at approximately 04:45 in the morning, another fire broke out in the area of Aspropyrgos, specifically in a building materials factory, located near Tzavela Street in Neoktista.
According to the Fire Department, for some time now the picture has improved from this fire, but its extinguishing will be delayed due to the amount of fuel present. However, as noted by sources from the Fire Department, there is no risk of the fire spreading to the adjacent buildings. 30 firefighters with 12 vehicles are operating at the scene.
