The mother complained that strangers followed her child when he went to school yesterday afternoon
A mother’s complaint about attempted kidnapping of her child, a 6th grade elementary school student in eastern Thessaloniki, in the area of Depo.
The student left school yesterday at noon at 1:15 pm with his friends and started walking home.
According to the mother’s complaint, an old silver Hyundai car, with three passengers, followed the 12-year-old when he left the group of his classmates with whom he left school. At some point along the way the car stopped and one of the passengers got out and started chasing the child.
The boy ran and a few meters down he met a passerby from whom he asked for help. Then the passenger of the car that was chasing it, got into the car and left.
The boy arrived home scared and in a state of shock, as described by his mother, who informed the police and the school.
