By decision of the Regional Governor of Attica, G. Patoulis, for precautionary reasons, due to the extraordinary weather phenomena, all evening and afternoon schools of all levels of education throughout Attica will not operate today.
The Region of Attica recommends to all citizens to avoid unnecessary movements, to comply with the instructions of the Ministry. of Civil Protection and in any case if they have to move, during the exacerbation of the weather phenomena to make sure to stay indoors, until the phenomenon subsides.
“We have come to this decision to safeguard the health and safety of both students and teaching staff as well as those traveling to and from schools to transport children. Their safety is our priority”, points out the Regional Governor”.
It is noted that decisions on the operation or not of schools tomorrow will be made by the region later, depending on the forecasts of the meteorologists and with the safety of the children in mind.
