The imaginative way to get them into prison did not go unnoticed by the police
They were arrested yesterday (26-01-2023) in the early hours of the morning in the area of Trikala, by police officers of the Trikala Security Department, -3- men, specifically -2- nationals and -1- a foreigner, against whom a case was filed for attempted importation of mobile phones of telephones in a detention center by complicity.
In particular, the police officers located, at a point near the Detention Center, I.X. passenger car, in which the perpetrators were riding and after a check carried out, the following were found carefully hidden in three bags of cabbages:
-9- mobile phones,
-26- mobile phone cards,
-9- mobile phone chargers,
-11- charging cables &
-1- pair of headphones,
which were confiscated.
In addition, a total of the following were confiscated from their possession:
-3- mobile phones &
-1- backpack that contained a pair of binoculars after their case, a silicone cola, a car charger with a charging cable, a mobile phone charger, as well as two charging cables.
The perpetrators possessed the above, with the obvious purpose of illegally introducing them to the Detention Shop.
The arrested were taken to the Criminal Prosecutor of Trikala, while the preliminary investigation was carried out by the Trikala Security Department.
