Minor in Heraklion she confessed to her mother that the raped by two young men. A complaint followed the Greek police for the double rape and finally the twist came, with the 15-year-old, according to police circles, retracting what she had revealed and confessing that she lied to justify her lateness at home.

Based on what has become known, the mother reported the double rape of her child around midnight on Thursday. Early in the afternoon of the same day, she was going to meet a friend of hers in a central part of the city. Her grandmother took her to the center. The hours passed and the minor, who did not have her mobile phone with her, was late returning home. An online search was done through friends and acquaintances, to see if anyone had seen it.
The 15-year-old turned up at home after 10pm and appeared to be in a bad state. She was shaking and sobbing. She confided in her relatives that while she was waiting for her friend, two young men approached her and threatened her to follow them. They took her near the school complex on Beaufort Street and abused her there. She reportedly said she does not know them although she has seen them outside her school.
The most serious complaint mobilized the competent agency, and the minor was asked to give a statement in order to shed some light on the investigations into the suspects. Police sources report that eventually, and after showing some evidence as well as her boyfriend’s photo, the 15-year-old allegedly withdrew the initial complaint, claiming that there was no rape.
Although as far as the spontaneous procedure is concerned, she was released by a prosecutor’s order due to minors, the case file will be forwarded to the competent prosecutor who will decide on the criminal treatment of the girl.
It should be noted that a few days ago the authorities were called to handle another case concerning the complaint of a young woman in Heraklion for a robbery against her by a taxi driver. Ultimately, it turned out not to be the case, and that a robbery was staged to justify her tardiness, according to police.
