ERGANI: Positive employment balance for the year 2022

The employment balance was positive, both in December and overall in 2022according to the data of the information system “ERGANI”.

Specifically, as stated by the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs in its announcement, in the twelve months of January-December, recruitment announcements reached 2,911,305 and departures reached 2,838,458 (1,734,032 terminations of open-ended contracts or terminations of fixed-term contracts and 1,104,426 voluntary departures). Thus, the balance of wage employment flows of the year 2022 was positive by 72,847 jobs.

In December, job postings totaled 204,101, while departures reached 195,234 (69,282 voluntary departures and 125,952 terminations of open-ended contracts or expiration of fixed-term contracts). Therefore, the December balance was positive by 8,867 jobs.

“The data of P.S. “ERGANI” for December 2022 and for the entire year, confirm the positive course of the labor market in the last 3.5 years, despite the challenges and obstacles that arose during this period. It is recalled that, from the annual report of the P.S. “ERGANI” for 2022, which is based on the personnel table submitted annually by all employers, results in an increase in the number of employees by 13.3% compared to 2019 and in average monthly salaries by 12.4%,” the ministry points out Labor and Social Affairs.
