The actions for the one-year anniversary of Alki’s murder will culminate in a “colorful and silent” march, as announced by the “In the Name of Alki” Structure.
In an atmosphere of emotion, the memorial service for the one year anniversary of the murder of 19-year-old student Alkis Kampanos was held today at the Holy Church of Agios Athanasios, in the Beoria Cemeteries.
The memorial service was held in the presence of the family of the 19-year-old, who reiterated their wish that the memory of their child be vindicated by sentencing those responsible, as well as friends and relatives, who gathered from early in the morning at the Berea cemeteries.
It is recalled that on February 6, 2023, the trial continues for the 12 defendants allegedly involved in the case of the murder of the 19-year-old. At the same time, with a graffiti about Alkis Kampanos, teachers and students of the 11th primary school of Kalamaria are sending their own message against fan violence.
It is pointed out that in view of the completion of one year since the murder of the 19-year-old, on February 1, 2023, diverse actions have been planned by various agencies. One of them is the “colorful and silent” march announced by the “In the name of Elk” structure. From Gazi Street, where Alkis Kampanos met his tragic death at the hands of brazen hooligans, to the White Tower, on the evening of February 1st, a colorful river of protest will form.
