A new traffic accident occurred a few minutes ago on the ring road of Zephyros, when a vehicle driver lost control, causing his car to overturn and land upside down on the asphalt.
Passing drivers immediately notified the Rhodes Traffic Police and EKAV. A Traffic Squad arrived at the scene to control traffic until the vehicle was removed from the asphalt, while at the same time recording all the data and witnesses looking for evidence of the exact causes that caused another traffic accident that could turn into a tragedy.
It is noted that the southern Aegean, according to the official statistics of ELSTAT, emerged as the sad champion in traffic accidents and accidents for 2022. In the Dodecanese alone, 29 people lost their lives, while at least 950 ended up in hospitals as injured.
