It was dismantled by the Narcotics Prosecution sub-directorate of the Attica Security Directorate, a criminal organization whose members were active in the supply and trafficking of significant quantities of cocaine, raw and processed cannabis, as well as synthetic drugs in Attica.
In particular, in an organized police operation that took place yesterday in the center of Athens and in Zografou, four members of the criminal organization were arrested, as well as one more person, against whom a case file was filed for – as the case may be – criminal organization and violation of drug legislation.
The certification of their criminal activity was preceded by appropriate utilization of information data, verifications and cross-references of data, use of special investigative techniques and creation of profiles of those involved (profiling).
At the same time, the role of each member of the organization in – as the case may be – the supply, storage, trafficking of narcotic substances as well as the collection of the proceeds from their sale was ascertained.
In searches carried out in 2 houses, in a vehicle, as well as in the possession of those arrested, the following were found and confiscated: 4 kg and 51 grams of cocaine, 49 kg and 478 grams of raw hydroponic cannabis (skunk), 9 kg and 309 grams of processed cannabis, 635 grams of crystal methamphetamine, 6,500 Ecstasy tablets, 1.2 grams of raw cannabis, 58,000 euros, 2 vehicles, 3 precision electronic scales, 5 mobile phones and a lot of nylon packaging.
As pointed out by ELAS, it is estimated that the illegal income of its members exceeds 500,000 euros from the structure and the way the criminal organization operates, as well as from the seized quantities.
Those arrested, with the case filed against them, were taken to the competent prosecutor’s office.
