Tomorrow, Sunday, subway passengers will be moved to and from Plakentias station and “Eleftherios Venizelos” airport by the suburban trains, in the event of heavy snowfall in the northern sector of the Prefecture of Attica, as announced by “Hellenic Train”, stressing at the same time that Metro routes will stop at Placentias Metro station. In the same announcement, it is emphasized that there will be continuous updates on the traffic situation on the company’s website as well as on social media.
Specifically, the announcement states the following:
“Hellenic Train informs the passenger public that due to the severe weather phenomena that are expected to begin on Sunday, February 5, there will be continuous updates on the traffic situation on the company’s website, as well as on social media (twitter, telegram).
The infrastructure manager (OSE) has scheduled, in the event of snowfall in the northern sector of the Attica Prefecture, the Metro routes to and from the Airport to stop at Plakentias station.
Therefore, the movement of passengers to and from the Airport will be done by transferring to the Suburban trains with the same ticket”.
