THE Municipality of Piraeus operates a heated area for the protection of citizens, due to the low temperatures that are expected to occur, according to the E.M.Y. forecast.

Specifically, from today, Saturday 4 February 2023, the “Piraeus Port of Solidarity Hospital” homeless accommodation structure of the Unesco Group of Piraeus and Islands in collaboration with the Municipality of Piraeus will operate for the accommodation of citizens, on a 24-hour basis. In the structure, the protocol of the directives of the EODY is strictly observed. and all preventive measures against covid-19 are applied.

In Athens

In the municipality of Athens, early Sunday morning, a heated room will be opened at the Botanic Friendship Club (Kozanis 4), where our vulnerable fellow human beings can be accommodated. If there is an increased need to accommodate our homeless people who wish to be temporarily protected from the cold, but do not want to go to other structures, such as the Multipurpose Center for the Homeless, an additional space will be allocated.
