The Ministry of Health, in the context of preparedness for dealing with and managing the impending bad weather, announces a new action of OKANA and his EODY for the protection of the population that uses psychoactive substances and lives on the street.
Specifically, from today at noon, 05.02.2023, and for the following days of difficult weather conditions, mobile crews of EODY provide the possibility of transporting people who use substances and live on the streets of Athens and Western Attica, to the Open Day Center Homeless-Hospital of OKANA in the center of Athens, but also at the Day Center-Short-Term Hospitality Services of OKANA in Ilion, respectively.
The premises are heated and hot food and drink, primary care, personal hygiene and sleeping services will be provided.
