In Volos, all judicial services will not operate and will be closed on Wednesday.
A further worsening of the weather in Volos and Pelion, with heavy snowfall both in the lowlands and in the mountains with snow falling even in the center of the capital of Magnesia.
The snowfall started shortly after 10.30pm on Tuesday and is getting heavier as time goes by, covering cars, buildings and parks and the snow cover reaching the sea again.
The same scenario prevails all over Pelion, with the result that the roads of the northern suburbs of Volos have been covered with snow and the cars that are moving need anti-skid chains.
According to the deputy governor of Magnesia, Dorothea Kolyndrini, the road network to Pelion will be cleared of snow throughout the night, as well as salt will be thrown, so that the roads can remain open.
Schools of all grades, as well as nurseries and daycare centers, will not operate on Wednesday in the entire urban complex of Volos and in the municipalities of Zagora-Mouresi, South Pelion and Skiathos by decision of the mayors.
In Volos, all judicial services will not operate and will be closed on Wednesday.
