The Holy Synod, repeating the words of its president, Archbishop of Athens and All Greece Ieronymos, calls all the Orthodox Christians of our country to rally, having the certainty that “just as we did in 1999, so today, the Greeks will meet with every way close to our neighbors and that the Greek State will practically stand by their side, offering all possible help. We pray to God for every possible comfort and we stand in solidarity with the friendly peoples of Turkey and Syria.”
