The Joint Jury unanimously imposed 8 years in prison for two attempted rapes, six years for one complainant and two for the other, with suspension to Petros Filippidis, until the discussion of the case in the second degree.
The actor was also unanimously voted the restrictive conditions of the ban on leaving the country and appearing at the police station of his district on the first fortnight of each month.
After the court’s decision, the actor will remain free until the Court of Appeal.
The prosecutor’s motion accepted by the judges deemed the restrictive conditions sufficient to ensure the presence of Filippidis in the second degree.
“He is not suspected of fleeing, he is not a fugitive from justice, he is not a fugitive and he is not dangerous for the commission of criminal acts. The alleged acts had as a common denominator the theater and the television which is no longer friendly to him” said Ms. Stella Stoya which added that apologizing and the actor himself stated in his apology that he does not wish to be in these places again.
