Seven-month program targets 10,000 unemployed youth under 30 – Guidance for businesses interested in participating
Wednesday 15 February 2023 is the deadline for business applications for the “work experience program for 10,000 unemployed young people aged 18-30”, funded by the Recovery and Resilience Fund.
The program, lasting seven months, aims to upgrade the qualifications and prepare 10,000 young people, graduates of at least compulsory education, for inclusion in the labor market, with a budget of 68 million euros.
The Public Employment Service (DYPA) pays beneficiaries a monthly compensation equal to the legal minimum net salary, with full insurance contributions, as well as a proportion of holiday gifts and leave allowance.
The action is aimed at private companies. As DYPA clarifies in its announcement, a necessary condition is that the company has not reduced staff, due to the termination of an employment contract, in the three months prior to the submission of the application.
Businesses interested in participating can submit their application exclusively online, with TAXISnet codes, through:
a) DYPA’s e-Services platform on the website www.dypa.gov.gr
b) gov.gr at the address: https://www.gov.gr/ipiresies/epikheirematike-drasterioteta/apaskholese-prosopikou/summetokhe-epikheireseon-ergodoton-se-programmata-katartises-anergon.
The steps are simple:
– The company submits an application and specifies the qualifications of the position.
– DYPA confirms that the business meets the conditions.
– DYPA’s employment advisors indicate to the company candidates, according to the required qualifications of the position.
– The company chooses the beneficiary and they sign an agreement.
