Severe fines of up to 50,000 euros will be required to be paid for organizing parties and other events in private spaces, violating the new measures announced by the government to stop the pandemic.

According to the new JMC, for holding any form of recreational gatherings and events in a private non-professional space rented or leased for this purpose, as well as holding any form of recreational gatherings and events in a private space in exchange for or if they involve rental of equipment or services of music entertainment is provided with an administrative fine of fifty thousand (50,000) euros to the lessee or concessionaire of the private, non-professional space, in which the event took place or takes place.

In case of a second violation, an administrative fine of two hundred thousand (200,000) euros is imposed on the lessee or concessionaire of the private, non-professional space, in which the event took place or takes place.

Respectively, for the organization of public recreational festive events, a fine of 50,000 euros is also provided.
