Ford’s electric SUV has emerged as the best-selling plug-in hybrid (PHEV) in 2022 across all European markets for the second year in a row, with deliveries up 20% year-on-year.
The intelligent powertrain of the Kuga Plug-In Hybrid is designed to provide flexibility to customers, with a pure electric total range of 57-67 km based on the WLTP protocol 3 and energy consumption of 14.4-15.9 kWh/100 km by WLTP, which allows for many trips using electric energy.
In addition to economy and unmatched performance in all conditions, the Kuga Plug-in Hybrid offers even more intuitive features, such as the FordPass Connect modem, which keeps the car connected and helps to better manage it through the FordPass app with a range of functions that enhance driving comfort, such as:
• Remote access with Lock/Unlock the doors
• Vehicle Locator, which helps owners locate their car in busy mall parking lots
• Remote control of vehicle status, including checking fuel level and battery charge level, alarm status, tire pressures, oil life, etc.
• Charge level control, to monitor the state of charge of the battery and the electric range
• Charging station locator, which helps customers locate and then be guided to more than 125,000 Charging Network locations in 21 countries. The system provides useful information, such as the type of charging station (public or with limited access) and the socket on them
The Kuga range was boosted last year with the Kuga ST-Line X Black Package, giving customers the option to add unique exterior design elements such as a black roof, mirror caps, front air vents and rear spoiler finished in black and matching color 20-inch alloy wheels.
Since last year, all Kuga models can also be ordered with special comfort seats for the driver and front passenger called Comfort Seat, which are adjustable in 18 directions and approved by the leading spine health organization Aktion Gesunder Rücken eV ( AGR), – Campaign for healthier backs.
