After an interruption of about an hour, the second part of the examination of the prosecution witness and estranged husband of Roula Pispirigou, Manos Daskalakis, by the defense attorney, Alexis Kougia, began at the Mixed Jury Court.

Manos Daskalakis answers questions about the death of their first child, 9-year-old Georgina.
Earlier, he had stated that he “bases his accusation on the will” and that the administration of ketamine as a way of killing Georgina “is speculation”.

The re-examination of the witness started with a question from Al. Kuya:
Do you think the reason he killed the children is to get revenge on you?
– It’s a guess
– He wanted the children alive if he wanted to claim you
– It is not necessary
– You said Georgina he killed her to take revenge on you because you broke up. But why did he kill them?
– I will answer you in that trial (for the other two children)
– Why did you kill the first child with whom you had excellent relations? The second; Since you had a happy family
At this point the President intervened

President (to Daskalakis): You will not answer this question

Kougias: I believe that the question is directly related to the essence and motivation. The question must be allowed.

There was a short break to decide whether to allow the question.

The prosecutor then took the floor and allowed the question, however, as she said, no questions should be asked about the deaths of the other two children with “murderer” type designations.

Kouyas: “He killed my children to take revenge on me” the witness had said about this and this question was asked.

There followed another interruption on the prosecutor’s motion and finally the question was allowed

Then the defense attorney read in the room messages that had been exchanged between Roula and Manos and they said to each other “I love you… you are my life…”.
Daskalakis: I was pretending when I sent these messages
