Lady Gaga “celebrated” Valentine’s Day by “uploading” something more… dark. More specifically, she “uploaded” on social media the first image from her role in the “Joker” sequel. The photo from the movie ‘Joker: Folie à Deux’ shows the famous singer cuddling up with him Joker, Joaquin Phoenix.

Gaga’s only comment was the title of the sequel: “Folie à Deux” and an emoji.

Director Todd Phillips, who directed the dark villain ‘Joker’ origin story in 2019, posted the same image on his Instagram page with the caption: ‘Happy Valentine’s Day.’

The sequel is currently shooting in New York and Los Angeles, with a release date of October 4, 2024.

It is perhaps the most profitable film, grossing over $1 billion at the worldwide box office. The film was nominated for 11 Academy Awards, winning two awards, Phoenix for Best Actor and Hildur Guðnadóttir winning Best Original Score.

The title of the sequel, “Folie à Deux”, is a reference to a medical term for a mental illness shared by two people in a close relationship.
