New jobs have been opened at STASY, for which high school or IEK graduates can apply.

These are permanent staff positions, which concern the following specialties:

Conditions

To be Greek citizens.
They are entitled to be candidates and citizens of the Member States of the European Union (law 2431/1996) with the limitations of article 1 paragraph 1 thereof. For the above, knowledge of the Greek language is required to a degree sufficient for the exercise of the duties of the relevant branch, which is proven by a Certificate of Greek Knowledge (Law 2413/1996 article 10 par. 1), issued by the Greek Language Center: a) Ministry of Education and Culture Andrea Papandreou 37, P.K. 151 80 Athens, tel. 210-3443384 and b) Karamouna 1, Pl. Skra, T.K. 55132 Thessaloniki, tel. 2310-459101 of the lower level which corresponds to the level of the Council of Europe:
B’ LEVEL/ B1 LEVEL (S.E.): For the Secondary Education Category (S.E.) of non-Administrative Personnel or Technical Personnel.

It is also proven by a corresponding certificate from the Greek Language School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (University Campus, Thessaloniki, P.K. 54006, tel. 2310/997571-72-76) which is granted after a relevant examination of the candidate or by another school or school Greek Language.

Northern Epirotians, Cypriots of Homogeneous origin and Homogeneous foreigners from Istanbul and from the islands of Imbro and Tenedo and expatriates from Egypt are also accepted to fill the announced positions, without requiring a certificate of Greek citizenship, provided that their status as Greeks by gender and conscience is proven in other ways (n.d. 3832/1958), as applicable.

To have been born up to the year 2002.

3. To have the health required to perform the duties of the position they choose, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Regulation of Internal Organization and Operation of STA.SY. S.A. and of the Amendment and Codification of the Organizational Chart of the Public Limited Company with the name “STATHERES SIGKOINONIES MONOPROSOPI S.A.”, (Government Gazette 505/Β΄/28.02.2014 and GOVERNMENT 85/PRA.D.I.T./15.06.2021) .
4. To have no impediment to appointment (Article 8 & 9 of Law 3528/2007 as applicable), neither at the time of the deadline for submission of electronic applications, nor at the time of appointment, i.e.:

a. Not have been convicted of a felony and of any penalty for theft, embezzlement (common or in service), fraud, extortion, forgery, perjury, bribery, oppression, perfidy, breach of duty, repeated libel, and for any crime against sexual freedom or crime of financial exploitation of sexual life.

b. Not to be defendants who have been referred by final will or in another legal way (Article 43, Law 4139/2013) for a felony or for a misdemeanor under case a, even if this offense is statute-barred.

c. That they have not been deprived of their civil rights due to a conviction and for as long as this deprivation lasts.

d. Not to be under deprivation of legal support (full or partial), under subsidiary legal support (full or partial) and under both of these situations.

e. Not to have been dismissed from a public service position or OTA. or another Legal Entity of the public sector, due to the imposition of the disciplinary penalty of permanent termination or due to the termination of the employment contract for an important reason, due to the fault of the employee, if five years have not passed since the dismissal. In order to establish the aforementioned obstacle to appointment, a responsible declaration is submitted by the interested party, the true content of which is checked ex officio by the competent appointment service based on the data kept in the Greek State Census Register.

In particular, staff who have been dismissed due to unfitness or disciplinary offenses are not hired by the Athens Urban Transport Organization (O.A.S.A.) or the Executive Bodies of the Transport Project (E.F.S.E) (of the General Staff Regulations O.A.S.A., as applicable).

Note: The incapacity for appointment is lifted only with the issuance of the decree under article 47 par. 1 of the Constitution that lifts the consequences of the penalty.

At the time of recruitment, the men must have fulfilled their military obligations or have been legally released from them (Article 5 of Law 3528/2007 and Article 29 of Law 4440/2016).
Exception: The fulfillment of the military obligations is not required for the citizens of a state of the European Union, for whom no such obligation is foreseen in their country and they have been naturalized as Greek citizens.

Possess the necessary qualifications (e.g. degree, foreign language qualification), as well as the required certificates of recognition and equivalence of their degrees – provided the latter were obtained abroad, by the deadline for submitting the application for participation.
