As reported by eyewitnesses, at some point he stopped because he felt dizzy. “He told us he was dizzy and sat on the bench. After a while he told us that he was better, but when he got up we saw him pass out and fall to the ground.”
Immediately people from the facilities of GS “Herakles” (Ivanofeio and Katsanio) who realized the event rushed with a defibrillator and according to the information the timely intervention brought the young athlete back, but for a while, as a few minutes later he collapsed again.
At the same time, EKAV was called to the scene, which arrived with two ambulances and a Mobile Unit with a doctor who proceeded with CPR in order to revive the 18-year-old, an effort that continues until now, while he will then be transferred to the Papageorgiou hospital.
