The crime that was revealed a few hours after the death of a 55-year-old man causes shock in the local community of Ioannina.
Yesterday Friday, late in the afternoon, a 55-year-old man was transported by EKAB ambulance from the Earthquake victims where he was staying at the Hospital. His death was confirmed there. Police were informed of the sudden death of the man.

During the forensic report it was found that the 55-year-old had been hit by a sharp object – a knife – near the heart.
Police immediately launched an investigation. He located the person who had called the ambulance and found that it was the victim’s companion, also 55 years old.
The woman was taken into custody and then arrested, as she confessed to her act and handed over to the police the knife with which she killed her partner.
The 55-year-old is accused of manslaughter, as it became officially known by the police.
