After the departure of Xenia Papastavrou
After the resignation of Mrs. Xenia Papastavrou from the position of administrator of the Welfare Benefits and Social Solidarity Organization (OPEKA), the position of administrator is assumed by Mr. Konstantinos Gloumis-Atsalakis, by decision of the Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Domnas Michailidou.
Mr. Gloumis-Atsalakis is an Athens lawyer and has studied in Greece and Belgium (Athens Law School and College of Europe). He has worked for major law firms, as well as the OECD, as a national legal expert. He specializes in public and EU law and has handled major competition, public procurement and energy law cases.
In addition, as stated in a related announcement, having already served, for the last 3.5 years, as director of the special office of the Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Domnas Michailidou, he has gained extensive experience in matters of administration, welfare, benefits and social services.
Mrs. Michailidou thanked Mrs. Papastavrou for her services and wished her well in her professional journey.
