A 71-year-old man died this morning, at Vergia, Halkidiki.

In particular, the unfortunate man lost consciousness while swimming, and then a relative tried to revive him with CPR, but was unsuccessful.

An EKAV ambulance immediately rushed to the scene and took him to the Nea Kallikrateia Health Center, where he was pronounced dead.

A 71-year-old citizen was pulled unconscious from the “VERGIAS” marine area of ​​Nea Propontida, Halkidiki, in the early hours of today.

The above was given first aid with the method of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) by a relative, as well as by an EKAV crew, while he was then transported by an EKAV ambulance to the Nea Kallikrateia Health Center, where he was pronounced dead.

From the 2nd Port Department of New Moudania of the Central Port Authority of Thessaloniki, which conducts the preliminary investigation, an autopsy was ordered by the Forensic Service of Thessaloniki.
