Hyundai revealed it new i10, which will be available with an upgraded and renewed design. At the same time it will feature innovative connectivity features, additional comfort elements and technologies that are usually only seen in larger classes, which makes the new i10 even more competitive in its class.

The new i10 has been upgraded in design both inside and out compared to the previous model, which was launched in 2019. The model now has a sportier demeanor and gives a bolder feel thanks to the lowered roof and long wheelbase.

It will be available in nine exterior colors, two of which are new: Lumen Grey, a bright light gray with a pearl finish, and Meta Blue with blue-violet reflections and a pearl finish. Seven of them offer the option of two-tone with a black roof.

The inner part of the headlamps with a black border as well as the front and rear LED signature, have been redesigned. Front LED daytime running lights (DRL) have been integrated into the sporty wide front grille, which features a new honeycomb mesh design. Additionally, the LED taillights now feature an ‘H’ on the tailgate’s horizontal line.

At the same time, the new i10 can be equipped with blue ambient lighting on the front seats. A new color package, Purple Package, adds a cheerful feel to the car’s sporty exterior design. It offers tartan fabric seats with vertical purple stripes as well as purple accents on the seams and vents. Gray surfaces with purple reflections, such as on the dashboard and the lower part of the center console, add extra style.

The new i10 N Line it has design features inspired by motorsport and features new 16-inch alloy wheels.

Innovative connectivity features make it new i10 more technologically advanced, and the experience in the car even more interesting. The new technologies of the model include a 4.2” LCD instrument panel, front and rear USB type-C ports, second generation eCall based on the 4G network and remote Over The Air (OTA) map update. At the same time, the model still has an 8-inch touchscreen and wireless connectivity with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard equipment and optional navigation system and Bluelink® telematics services as well as wireless mobile charging.

The model also has in its standard equipment more features than the package of safety technologies Hyundai Smart Sense. The Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA) system for ‘City’, ‘Interurban’ and ‘Pedestrian’ has also been extended to include ‘Cyclist’. FCA helps detect and avoid potential accidents with obstacles in the path ahead. The Lane Following Assist (LFA) system uses the steering control system to help the car stay in the current lane. The Rear Occupant Alert (ROA) system reminds the driver with a message on the instrument panel if the rear door has been opened during the journey, preventing the possibility of anyone or anything being left in the back seat.

The new i10 remains the most practical choice for European drivers. An innovation that stands out in class A is the fact that the model can be equipped with electrically folding mirrors. Like its predecessor, it offers a boot capacity of 252 liters with the seats in the upright position and 1,050 liters with the seats folded down, a two-level luggage compartment floor, one-hand folding of the rear seat and a reversing camera.

Production of the new i10 is planned to begin in April 2023 with the first vehicles expected on European roads and in Greece by the middle of the year.
