Discharge from the hospitals where they are being treated, most of the injured from the tragic accident in Tempi, who are being treated in the hospitals of Thessaloniki, are expected to be taken today.

Already, since yesterday, a woman with minor injuries has been discharged from the AHEPA hospital, while 13 more injured from the train accident remain for hospitalization.

According to the hospital administration Papageorgiou, he has been hospitalized since yesterday intubated in the intensive care unit a 21-year-old burn victim, while 25 people came to the hospital for preventive examinations, mainly with respiratory problems, of which two people, a 50-year-old man and a 53-year-old woman with abrasions, remained for hospitalization.

According to Petros Ketikidis, a member of the hospital’s workers’ union “C. birth”, three people remain hospitalized at the specific hospital, two women aged 19 and 52 and a 2-year-old man and are expected to be discharged today. “They are all in good health, fortunately with minor injuries from broken glass and burns,” he explained.

From 5 pm, according to information from the hospital, more than 500 citizens came to the AHEPA hospital – mainly students, including many friends of the injured – in order to donate blood.
