On Friday morning, information was given about the detection of a vehicle in the area in question, where the Fire and Police authorities immediately rushed to find out what was happening. Initially, an IX car was located, which turned out to be the vehicle of the missing couple.
Eventually the couple was found dead in a ravine.
EMAK men using a drone scanned the area locating the unfortunate couple. At this time, the operation to retrieve the two dead is progressing.
They are David Harrison Robinson, 83, and his wife Lucretia Robinson, 80.
As it turns out, investigations in the area had been done before, but at a different point. Today’s search was the one that led to the finding of the couple from the USA who had been missing in Methoni since January.
