An investigation as part of the preliminary investigation was carried out at noon on Friday by the Traffic Department for the accident in Tempi, at the OSE offices in Larissa, with the aim of collecting all the necessary evidence needed by police investigations to investigate the case of the railway accident.
According to information from APE-MPE, men of the Traffic Police in their investigation collected all the evidence deemed useful, such as documents and other documents related to the specific route, in order to draw conclusions about the causes of the tragedy and the attribution of responsibilities.
Earlier, by order of the Prime Minister, the Minister of State George Gerapetritis announced the formation of a Special Commission to investigate and highlight the systemic problems and malfunctions that led to the Tempe train tragedy.
