In an atmosphere of unspeakable pain, the funeral of 23-year-old Ifigenia Mitska, who lost her life in the train accident in Tempi, was held in the Holy Church of Peter and Paul in Giannitsa.
Devastated parents, relatives and friends of the girl said their last “goodbye” in an atmosphere of deep sorrow.
The girl’s friends lined the road with white flowers, while at the cemetery her relatives will distribute sweets.

THE family lawyer of Ifigenia, Stelios Sourlas, speaking to SKAI, said that “today is a very difficult moment for the family of 23-year-old Ifigenia Mitska”.
In her family, says Mr. Sourlas, “sadness and anger are overflowing”.
“We have confidence in the Greek Justice, we are sure that the responsibilities will be assigned where they belong. The families of the victims are waiting for a sincere apology which they have not heard,” he added.
