all the bodies, which have arrived at the Larissa morgue after the fatal collision of the two trains in Tempi, have been identified, according to the head of the Larissa forensic service, Rubini Leontari.

All but one body, which is said to belong to foreign man

“All bodies and parts have been identified, except for one male foreigner,” said Mrs. Leontari, according to larissanet.gr.

Regarding the family’s complaint that they have given a DNA sample, however, their daughter has not been found, the head of the forensic service of Larissa stated that “so far we don’t have a body that matches the family’s DNA.”

And he explained how “if he was in the center of the very big fire, he clearly could not be found.”

On Wednesday the review of two bodies

According to the medical examiner, the first reason for the identification of the bodies was a special team that arrived in the area from Athens.

When it came to handling casualties in mass disasters in Larissa, as he explains, a protocol must be followed, while he noted that, essentially, “the echelon had the first and last word” this.

It should be noted that, tomorrow, On Wednesday, two bodies are expected to be re-examined, following the requests of their families, in the presence of a technical advisor appointed by them, however, according to the coroner, “DNA identification leaves no room for error.”
