SATA JOINS THE GATHERING AT 12:30 PM. IN CONSTITUTE SQUARE

(Meeting at 10:30 a.m. at the offices of SATA Marnis 17)

This is not a time for silence, it is a time for voice and struggle.

SATA is a helper in the struggle of all workers, of all Greeks who demand modern and safe public transport as well as the exemplary punishment of those responsible for the murder of dozens of people in Tempi.

It wasn’t human error, it was criminal political incompetence. It was the chronicle of a foretold death. Human life and the social good of transportation, took second place and greed and rage for greater profit prevailed. No more crocodile tears and committee recommendations. We do not want and cannot bear another national tragedy.

SATA will be there.

Together with all our fellow citizens. This is not a time for silence, it is a time for voice and struggle. “Let’s go wherever it goes”, privatization and commercialization of social services such as transport, health and education, cannot be part of government policy. Human life is non-negotiable and cannot be weighed against the profit and wealth of any government or multinational corporation.

As a branch, we invite colleagues to attend the gathering at 12.30 pm in Syntagma Square. We join our voice with the Greek people and say
– NO to the silencing of society
– NOT on death strings
– NO to covering up responsibilities

To attribute without deductions and offsets, the real responsibilities for the crime of Tempe.
