The minister, at the same time, thanked the EKAV staff and the rescuers who were at the scene of the accident from the first moment, as well as the medical and nursing staff of the hospitals of Larissa, Katerini and Thessaloniki, who, as he noted, “worked with altruism and selflessly offered their services”.

At the scene, said Mr. Pleuris, “from the first moment we were informed, more than 30 ambulances of the EKAB were found, they were on the change of shift and all the staff remained, operating with complete self-denial, something that we all agree distinguishes all his staff YOU”. He also pointed out that the commander of the Ministry of Health immediately put the General Hospital of Larissa on emergency duty, which was not on duty, “really immediately it was able to function in an exemplary way in dealing with the incidents”, as he noted.
