In the incident with the shootings, which occurred yesterday, Friday evening in Lavrio, ELAS reported. As part of the spontaneous procedure, a 53-year-old man was arrested for attempted murder, and for violating the weapons legislation.
According to the Police, a 53-year-old man was in a cafe in Lavrio where he was involved in a verbal incident with other patrons. He then left the store, but returned after a while with a rifle and from the outside of the store, aiming at the 67-year-old owner, shot through the window.

Police officers from the Lavreotiki Security Department who immediately rushed to the scene, located the 53-year-old man nearby and immobilized him. They also conducted a breathalyzer test on the accused with a positive result.
From the search carried out at his house, a carbine and 33 cartridges which he legally possessed were found and confiscated.
The arrested person, with the case against him, was taken to the competent Prosecutor.
