The schools open normally on Monday, January 10, according to information from SKAI. Changes will be made in their operating protocols, with the relevant announcements expected after the meeting of the committee of experts.
The announcement for the pricing in molecular tests (PCR) at 50 euros is expected at noon.
Speaking earlier to SKAI, the Minister of Development Adonis Georgiadis stressed that no one will be able to exceed this new price of 50 euros, as it is a pricing.
According to the minister, the price is set in such a way that it is more advantageous for the citizen and does not jeopardize the process itself, as if most laboratories do not have the slightest profit or even small damage, then the tests will be done from fewer centers and the wait and pressure will increase in the rest.
To increase the tests for students
In order for the schools to operate safely, the increase of the number of self tests that will be done weekly to the students from 2 to 3 as well as the tightening of the protocols in case of a case are examined.
The basic scenario that provides for the closure of departments when 30% + 1 of students are infected with coronavirus compared to 50% + 1 that was valid until now, while in case of a rapid test all students will be subjected and not only close contacts.
