A new gathering with a large participation is taking place in Larissa, organized by the Labor Center of Larissa, with several collectives and school students.
Youth and workers are protesting the accident in Tempe, shouting anti-government slogans, but also presenting demands against privatization and the policies being implemented.
Today’s demonstration is a continuation of the very large march that took place last Wednesday as part of the strike, where students, youth and workers of the city protested the accident.
Heraklion
In Heraklion, Crete, workers, students, students and pensioners reiterated the demand, as they said, of society, for accountability to those responsible for the train tragedy in Tempi.
The gathered, responding to the call of ADEDY and unions of the Labor Center of Heraklion, emphasized that they will not stop the protests “so that the tragedy is not forgotten”, sent a message against privatization while calling for massive participation in the strike next Thursday, March 16.
The gathered, immediately after the protest gathering, marched through the central streets of the city.
Chania
With the participation of party representatives, student organizations and citizens, a protest rally was held in Chania for the tragedy of Tempe.
The participants in the mobilization gathered in the square of the municipal Agora of the city and after greetings from the organizers, they marched through the main streets of the city.
After the completion of the march, a musical event followed in the Municipal Market square, by members of the Chania branch of the Panhellenic Music Association.
At the same time, the organizers of the mobilization invited the workers to participate in the strike mobilizations of the unions on Thursday, March 16.
