Modification of charge rates for molecular tests (PCR) announced by the government.
According to the General Secretariat for Trade and Consumer Protection of the Ministry of Development, it will now be at 47 euros with effect from Thursday.

The General Secretariat for Trade and Consumer Protection of the Ministry of Development and Investment informs the consumer public, the diagnostic laboratories and the private clinics that from Thursday 06/01/2022 the maximum price limits (ceiling) for the diagnostic test by PCR method are modified. as follows:
Maximum service charge (sample analysis, etc.), including the required reagents and consumables, the amount of thirty five (35) euros.
Maximum charge price for sampling in private diagnostic laboratories and private clinics, the amount of twelve (12) euros.
The above charge price limits do not apply in the case where the sampling is carried out outside private diagnostic laboratories and private clinics in which case their price is freely adjusted.
The above will be provided in a Decision of the Minister of Development and Investment, Adonis Georgiadis, which is in the process of being issued.
