“Where did the money go? Why weren’t the projects built? While so much money is being spent which is supposed to make OSE attractive to passengers, to businessmen to carry their products, so the investment will start to pay off. In the pockets of the contractors and some were working with them? I can’t know where they might have gone.” says the former general director of the OSE.

Asked why the OSE administration decided to abolish the department that was responsible for the maintenance of the signaling and remote control network, he said:

“ERGOSE was created initially because they could not operate alone from the market people… They took some people from OSE, myself included, but they gradually kicked them out. They left some willing to play their game,” he complains.

Regarding what the general secretary of public administration found regarding the project in the Othrios tunnel, he said that as found in the Rakintzis report, “he took 37 million that he should not have taken for work, that is, for compressed air”.
