The English forward of the London team, published the next day a screenshot depicting the racist characterization towards his face with the comment: “I wasn’t going to post it, but I woke up angry.”

Brentford: ‘Punishment-station, for anyone who commits racist hate crimes’

A landmark decision is also referred to by Bradford which now emphasizes the existence of due process, while pointing out that even more consistency will be needed so that such phenomena disappear.

“Brentford is delighted to see the Antonio Nail case resolved and the police reach a final conviction.

The court’s decision sets a strong precedent around cases involving similar racist hate crimes. We hope that the convictions will multiply in order to completely eliminate similar phenomena.

Ivan Tony is a victim of racist incidents on a daily basis and we want to take strict action against anyone found guilty of such attacks.”
