It is in constant upgrade Athens-USA-Canada flight schedule. More specifically, the program was launched on March 11 by Delta Air Lines with a flight from JFK Airport to “Eleftherios Venizelos”. The plan is for 5 flights per week until March 24 and daily flights from March 25 onwards.

From New York there will be 3 flights per week to Athens from April 6th and from May 6th, daily. From May 6, flights will depart daily. Emirates will continue daily direct flights and AMERICAN starts its own schedule from May 5 also with daily flights.

From Chicago and Philadelphia the direct daily connection begins with the official start of summer on June 1, with more flights than last year.

From Boston, flights start 4 days a week much earlier, on May 8. Flights from Canada are also expected to add a big boost to tourist flows, as the interest of the Greek element in the country is particularly intense.

From Montreal, the flights will start on March 31st, from Monday and Friday and from May 1st they will be daily, with already a high rate of pre-bookings. Finally, from Toronto, the first plane will take off on March 28 and will make the route 3 times a week (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday).

Other flights are expected to be added to this flying program, while as last year’s experience showed, many airlines changed the type of aircraft they use to larger sizes.
