Mr. Nikos Lymberopoulos, Aliveri’s lawyer, who helped “Maria Tsalla” or Irina Alexandrovna-Smireva as her real name, to be registered in 2018 in Aliveri’s municipal register, spoke in the “Dekatianoi” show.

While facing problems at the registry office, the Russian spy contacted two local lawyers to assure them that they either hosted her or knew her because she lived in the area. Finally, according to the document published by SKAI on December 21, 2018, he succeeds and becomes a citizen of Aliveri.

“I did not remember anything about this case, the woman was not my client. He had papers, he just wanted to change his place of residence at the registry office in Aliveri and be registered in the census. The registrar asked for evidence that the woman is a resident of the municipality of Kymi – Aliveri, for example a house lease or some bill that proves the place of residence,” said Mr. Lymberopoulos.

He himself could not answer questions about how exactly he met Maria Tsalla, how he helped her get her papers or if he hosted her in his house, as has become known.

“I’m trying to remember, maybe some lawyer from Athens called me to serve his client, as is usually done here in the countryside… I don’t remember hosting her or declaring her as my guest…” said the lawyer.

He has not contacted anyone nor has anyone called him from the competent authorities.
