Famous Greek YouTuber receives threats for his life (video)

A well-known Greek YouTuber, who creates and uploads videos about the critique and presentation of various products, receives threats to his life and that of his family.

The reason for Sotiris or as he is known in the world of the internet “Unboxing Specialist”, who through video yesterday informed his more than 195,000 followers about what he is experiencing since New Year’s Eve, when he started receiving several threatening messages through email.

In fact, the well-known YouTuber immediately informed the Cybercrime Prosecution, which, as he states, urged him to file a lawsuit, something he did the same day at the Heraklion Police Headquarters. Since then, and while continuing to receive threats, he has complained of indifference by the police and little information as to whether an investigation has been launched to identify the person or persons hiding behind the email address that sent the threatening messages.

What the emails say

In the video lasting about four minutes entitled “At the mercy of the blackmailers! My last video? ” The “Unboxing Specialist” presented some of the threatening messages he receives from the perpetrator who asks him to download specific videos from his channel otherwise he will kill him. In fact, in one of them, he gives him a deadline of up to 48 hours, continuing the threats.

“Savior, delete all the videos that you urge people to put cameras ILLEGALLY on surveillance in public. We give you 48 hours to do it otherwise we come to stab you in the neck and we will cut it “, he states the first message that was sent on December 28 and ends with insults.

You did not download any videos (..). You will eat 50 knives everywhere. You are dead (..) We are watching your wife, we know your cars and where you live. We are coming, you are dead “, it is mentioned in another message that he received two days later.

“Hey .. do you keep uploading videos with cameras everywhere? download it all – Take it out if you want to live and do not upload anything again that… son we will stab you to death we know where you live we are watching you. “In the new homicides, the killers are informing the victims – Remember this message”, it is mentioned in the last email he received just yesterday.

According to the well-known YouTuber, it is not excluded that he or those who send the messages are “internet trolls”, however, the issue is quite serious since both he and his family have naturally panicked in fear for their lives.
