An enraged pit bull in the area of Psachos killed a dog in a few seconds, attacked and injured a man who was walking with his wife and threatened a 15-month-old baby who was in the stroller. It all happened on Monday afternoon on Thespidos Street, in Patras.
Giannis Vassiliadis took a walk in his neighborhood with his wife and their 15-month-old grandson, a child of their 28-year-old daughter Eleftheria. They also had their dog weighing 4 kilos. At a distance of 50 meters from their house and while they were carefree walking, they see a white pit bull coming out of the house where he is staying and rushing on them!
The baby’s mother was thrown out of the house and started screaming in terror for her child.
The pit bull, according to what Eleftheria Vassiliadis describes in the newspaper “Peloponnisos”, was not limited to her father. She attacked her mother and then her dog. The unfortunate animal was literally devoured. The road was full of blood. The pit bull finally entered the house, while the Vassiliadis family hurried to treat the grandfather’s wounds, and at the same time to take their dog to the vet. Unfortunately, however, the little quadruped died before the veterinarian even had time to intervene. “I have already filed a lawsuit against this man who has such a killer dog and leaves him free in the neighborhood,” he told us.
The Vassiliadis family is determined to file a lawsuit. “P” addressed the owner of the pit bull and a neighbor of the family who fell victim to him: “It does not matter to anyone, only if you hurt him” he told us …
