The installation of led luminaires for the lighting and promotion of the bridges of the road network of Attica with the financing of the Region, with a total budget of 3.7 million euros, begins immediately.

The big project of modernization and upgrading of the lighting of the road network of the Region is already in this direction, with the replacement of the old and energy-consuming sodium lamps, with modern LED luminaires, an intervention of a total budget of 37 million euros.
In particular, 25,000 luminaires will be replaced throughout the road network of the Attica region, with led fixtures which will be fully remote controlled, which means that the user will be able to see on a screen if the luminaire works and the basic elements of its operation. , in real time, such as consumption, lighting intensity, lighting uniformity and so on.
It is pointed out that until today 1200 luminaires have been installed on the coastal avenue partially in Floisvos, from Amfitheas avenue to Glyfada and from the junction of Vouliagmeni with Poseidon to Asklipieio, as well as in Kifissias from the junction with Panormou to the height .
