An incredible story unfolded in the village of Karaiskaki in Etoloakarnania, when a worker in a sheepfold, after various coincidences, was found with 50,000 euros and during the holidays he managed to waste the amount of 14,000 euros for personal entertainment and treats!
In accordance with pelop.gr, in the village two brothers maintain a mini market and in a plastic container one, without the other knowing, had placed 50,000 euros for storage. Between 22 and 24 December, in the shift of the ignorant brother, the plastic container was sold, with 50,000 euros to a shepherd!
The latter as soon as he arrived at his house gave the container to his worker, with the order to carry it to the stop. Indeed, this is what happened and there the worker found that the container contained 50,000 euros. So he blessed his fortune and began to spend. He threw it in the ravine and ravaged the whole village until the day before yesterday. In total, he caught and wasted 14,000 euros!
In the meantime, the time came when one brother found out that the plastic container with his savings was missing and by asking his brother he was informed that it had been sold!
The Police were notified and fortunately the mini market had security cameras, so it was found that the container had been sold to the shepherd, who referred the police to the worker. Something like “I open the big bag, I take out the small bag, I close the big bag, I open the small bag…”.
Eventually, the amount of 36,000 euros was returned to the beneficiary, while for the rest it is unknown how the difference will be settled…
