Plans for a pine-shaped tree house in the pine forest of the Italian Alps have been released by Studio Beltrame. Il Pino, which stands on three stacked levels, is expected to be completed in the summer.

Each level is dedicated to a different lifestyle and experiential experience of the forest that surrounds the hut: At its base, a veil of intimacy; in the center, a contemplative climate; at the highest level, a peaceful sense of tranquility overlooking the rolling peaks of the Italian Alps.

The architects at Studio Beltrame ensure the careful integration of Il Pino into the rich natural landscape. The roofs will be covered with photovoltaic panels to produce environmentally friendly energy so that the tree house remains off the grid. In addition, they will be covered with large green Scots pine needles, painted as camouflage among the pine needles. The interior wall panels will be finished with natural CLT.

With its unconventional design and local materials, Il Pino wishes to be an eco-tourism landmark.
