The antiquities are being repositioned today Thursday at Venizelos Station, with special cranes at the exact points from where they were removed for the station’s construction needs.

The repositioning was announced by the president of Attiko Metro, Nikos Tachiaos and the managing director of the company, Nikos Kouretas, at the meeting they had with a large delegation of the TEE/TKM, led by the president of the Steering Committee, George Tsakoumis, who visited the Thessaloniki Metro Station in Pylaia.

It was also pointed out that the construction of the Venizelos station in Thessaloniki already constitutes the new record of “Attiko Metro SA”, with a total completion time of excavations and concreting of 9 months. In Venizelou, this week the concreting of the slabs in the central part of the station is finished, while the railway infrastructure has also been installed and in the next few days the first test train crossing will take place.
