An unprecedented incident unfolded in Kaminia with a 41-year-old businessman as the protagonist, who visited the home of his employees due to differences he had with them, and when he did not find them there, he not only verbally attacked their roommate, but left him unconscious from the blows.

Specifically, according to EL.AS, at noon on Wednesday, a 41-year-old citizen was arrested as part of the spontaneous procedure by police officers of the Anti-Racist Violence Department of the Attica Security Directorate for assault with dangerous bodily harm, threats, damage to foreign property, verbal abuse, theft and disturbing the peace, crimes committed with racial characteristics.

In particular, the 41-year-old business owner in Kaminia, due to personal differences he had with two foreign employees, went to their house in Kaminia in the morning hours of Tuesday 21-3-2023.

When he arrived at the house in question, the people he was looking for were absent and at that moment their same-sex roommate was in the house. Then, the 41-year-old man first abused him with racist phrases touching on his origin, then threatened him and took away his mobile phone.

When he left the apartment, the foreigner followed him to the main entrance of the apartment building and the 41-year-old again addressed abusive expressions and threats with racist characteristics. He then assaulted him with blows to the head, pushing him into the glass of the entrance, causing it to break, with the accused this time hitting the victim’s head on the shards.

The victim passed out from his injuries and was taken by ambulance to a hospital, while the 41-year-old was arrested and, with the case against him, brought to the Piraeus District Attorney.
